Meridian Health Services is currently seeking a full time 340B Program Coordinator to assist and support the 340B Oversight Committee in the management of Meridian's 340B drug discount program for all qualified entities within the organization, inclusive of pharmacy locations, retail, and contract pharmacies. This position will work 8a to 5p in our Muncie, IN location.
Responsibilities include oversight of drug purchasing and inventory processes, dispensing patterns, monthly reporting on savings opportunities, split billing software maintenance, 340B Third Party Administrator oversight, contract pharmacy agreements and all areas of program compliance. Collaborates with 340B Oversight Committee to plan, organize and operate the program under regulatory guidelines.
As a member of the 340B Oversight Committee and Pharmacy Operations, the 340B Program Coordinator collaborates with leadership across operational areas including all primary care clinics, behavioral health and substance use clinics, pharmacy locations, retail, and contract pharmacy. The 340B Program Coordinator analyzes and reports both compliance and financial performance metrics to track progress on achievement departmental and organizational goals.
We are seeking candidates with the following qualities:
Certified Pharmacy Technician. (CPhT) Bachelor's preferred. Three to five years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a pharmacy (retail and/or community health center), supervising and/or leading the work of others/projects.
Knowledge of health center (preferred) or retail pharmacy operations, operating principles, and guidelines/regulations. Excellent customer service, organizational and presentation skills. Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills. Ability to identify, develop and implement short/long-term strategic goals and objectives. Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships; influence, build credibility and trust. Ability to think critically as well as apply critical thinking skills.
